Menus/Chapters No help file

Post by Laika »

I have just purchased downloaded( well maybe) Video Studio 11 I have no help file
I was trying to set Chapters at my chosen location which worked but I can't seem to get them to show in burned DVD
When I look at Menu selection ( I am guessing that I have to place Chapters in Menu somehow) there are only 3 does that seem right
Thanks

Well now - did you purchase a full version - or have you downloaded the free trial - it makes a difference.

If you purchased a download have you downloaded and installed all three (3) files as instructed in the e-mail you received.

If you have the free trial it does not come with a help file but you can view and download a user manual from here :-

If you set three chapters and there are three on your DVD that would seem right to me - do you mean you set more than 3 and only three show - sounds like you need to use the 'customise' option in the menu creation option to select a template with more chapter pointers.

Thankyou
I downloaded first link okay this is the one with no help file and minimal menu choices but works okay
downloaded second which is a content file that includes audios, videos, images win dvd ,lead disc imager This sits as a folder on my c drive no idea how to use it Thought it would become a part of VideoStudio
third downloaded for 12 hours ( dialup) and it was corrupted
So I think I need to start over or ask Ulead to please send me a disc

Unless you really enjoy waiting and risking your dial-up being disconnected during the download, I would opt for the disk. 1-extra benefit with the disk is that you will have the "Repair" option in case something goes wrong. You would be able to first try doing a repair install.

If you can't afford the shipping etc., for the disk, then try using a download manager. Steve always boasts about Getright. You can google for it. Once it gets the data stream, it will hold on to it. You can resume if you need to stop for a while, and it will pick right up where it left off.
