Error Message: Cannot Open Files

I am new to Ulead Video Studio and need some techincal help. I have a Samsung DVD Camcorder and I am having a heck of a time importing video from the DVD to my hard drive. I ge the following error message when I try to import:

Cannot Open Files
Report ID: 0x80040836(2102)

What gives? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance.

Does your camera's manual say anything about 'finalising' the mini DVD before inserting it into your computer?

Yup. I did finalize the DVD.

Can you simply copy the contents of the DVD onto your hard disk using Windows? If so, try importing from there with VS?

Or if you can copy them to the hard disk but VS import still does not work, try changing the extensions of the relevant files from .vob to .mpg.
