I use Moviefactory 2.5 and 4.02. Since I installed Vista Home Premiom, I can't record sound with MF 4 and also on a trial - version of MF 5. But 2.5 works fine. (German Version Filmbrennerei). Video also works fine!
Is there another sounddriver in MF 2.5? And if ist so, can I transfer it to MF 4?
My System : Sound Realtek HD Audio, on Board and also EMP Audio via USB, Videocard Cinergy 400 or USB 2861

There is a Vista update for MF5, but the updates don't work with the trial versions. The trial Version of MF6 should work. If it doesn't work with your hardware, the retail version of MF6 probably won't work either...
In general, you have to be prepared to upgrade your hardware and your applications whenever you upgrade to a new operating system.... Some of your older stuff might work, but you can't count on it.

I don't know why the older one works...Is there another sounddriver in MF 2.5?
