S/N invalid when trying to install SE version 8

Hello,
I 'm trying to install the software that was bundled with some hardware I purchased. It tells me that my S/N is invalid but when I go to the Ulead site, the website recognizes it.
What do I do?

You are talking in riddles. SE versions, to my knowledge, have the serial number embedded. How, exactly, does the Ulead web site recognise your serial number but your program doesn't?
