another basic question...sorry guys

Is it possible to capture a Hi8 video using Ulead Video studio 8 or Ulead DVD Movie factory, then burn it on a DVD without closing the DVD disk, so as to add more videos at a later stage on the same DVD disk .......basically what I am trying to do is to save space on my HDD....so if a capture say 30 minutes and then encode it and burn it on a DVD, then delete all the files from the HDD and start all over again so as to put more files on the DVD.....am I dreaming....or is it possible.......I think I am dreaming........

The short answer is yes, you are dreaming, unfortunately. Once you have written on a DVD, regardless of size, that's it. You may have to find some other storage solution until you have a "full load" and can burn a complete DVD.
