Project Properties - 1080 + Dolby 5.1 ?

I go into Project Properties/Compression and set the Media Type field to Mpeg-2. I then go into Project Properties/General and set the Frame Size field to 1440 x 1080. I then hit OK again and everything appears to work fine.

After this is set, I go back into Project Properties/Ulead Visual Studio and set the Audio Channels field to Multi-Channel Surround Sound and hit OK.

I noticed that this changes the project back to 720 x 480.

Is there a way to have both 1440 x 1080 AND Multi-Channel Surround Sound?

Thanks for your help. I am very new to Video Studio.
