Hello -
First I want to thank vidoman who many months ago recommended that I make use of Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus for making a wedding DVD -- essentially a very fancy slide show in my case for still photos.
VS10+ software is making that easy and it looks great!
My question is about merging bits of the eventual video together.
I have made the first 4 minutes of the video (the "groom" portion)
and now I need to try and make the "bride" portion of the video
separately and later merge them together into one final product.
I suspect this is as easy as dropping and dragging the second
video portion onto the first video portion. But I wonder what is
the best format in which to do that. In other words should I:
(a) Make part two as a .VSP and drop it into/add it onto the first .VSP
(b) Make part two into a .MPEG and then drop it into/add it onto the first .VSP
(c) or other recommended solutions
(and the next question-->) Regarding MPEG, what is the best MPEG format I should be saving into for a video which will eventually be placed as a chapter onto a DVD I author, which will be played on a set top DVD player which goes to a wall projector and then displayed very large on a wall.
Thanks in advance !!!

here is a thought that may point in the direction of seperate VSP
remember when you encode it take time you change the quality if they are in different formats or speed as well.
I would keep your original mpg file and create seperate VSP because then you dont have to keep re-encoding. Then just drag and drop your Vsp into a MASTER vsp to create your DVD...
one note if you change one of the VSP you dragged into the MASTER VSP you may have to add that back into the master the next time you open the master due to length of that VSP maybe 11 fixes that and it auto addes it back in
Im not a expert on ulead but i did create something just like you and I found having seperate VSP for each event was better and allowed me to be very flexable.[/b]
