Recently purchased Sanyo HD2 knowing that VS 10 wouldn't recognize the MPEG-4 format. Is there a plug-in or am I stuck having to upgrade to VS11?
BTW tried transcoding the files with SUPER C and just can't seem to hit on settings that make the clips at all useable.

Welcome to the forums,
There was an MPEG-4 plug-in for VS10. However for some reason whenever they release a newer version, they remove the ability to purchase the plug-ins for the previous version. The MPEG-4 plug-in if I recall costs about $29.95. So as far as upgrading, you have to weigh that against the cost of the upgrade and what else it may or may not have that you would like or need with your new camcorder.
I would try to contact customer care to see if you can still obtain the plug-in.
