freeze frame

Thanks guys for all the help, I've learnt so much from everyone

I'm trying to pull off something but i'm having an issue with freeze frame.

I have the cut video section(3secs from a 3min video) in the track and i left click and go to freeze frame but in the freeze frame editor the whole vid file is in there(the 3mins not the 3 sec scene) plus i think i have to wright in times or something and time it out or something which has me totally mixed up.

Which means i must be doing something wrong with freeze frames.

It's like a 3 second clip that i want to freeze at a certain time then the picture won't move right? so when it's not moving i want to throw on a moving path kinda zoom in on something during the freeze frame for a bit maybe 2secs,

But everything is going crazy and the timing is all wrong. I have no idea what i'm doing but I have a feeling it's because i screwed up from the start. When i hit the freeze frame do i need to take a screen shot or create a pic?

Any help/ maybe screen shot. Thank you.

Have you read pp 68/9 of the manual? This explains how to do it better than I can. After freezing, I suggest you cut the frozen part free before applying your MP.

BEFORE you apply the MP, cur the clip before and after the frozen part (U on the keyboard). THEN apply your MP to the frozen part.
