I need to add back ground music to an already prepared DVD via a video camera with some still pictures.

(A) I copied an audio file from VS 9 as introductory music and I was able to hear in CLIP mode.

(B) For the rest, I inserted a CD and followed instruction on pages 115/116 of the User's guuide. It says 'click PLAY SELECTED TRACK to listen but I cannot hear anything.

I understand one cannot hear until it is rendered.

Why is it possible in (A) and not in (B)?Thanks

Hi, VS has a number of endering little quirks and part of the fun is working around them. You could use your Media Player to Rip the tracks you want to hard disc as Wave files and then import them into VS where they certainly will play.
Feedback after members have endeavoured to help you is not only good manners it also helps others to know if a given solution was effective. Thanks.
