Special effect with VideoStudio 9

That's a video showing how to make the special effects: stop-edit, dissolve and double exposure.
I know how to do the stop-edit but I don't know how to do the dissolve and double exposure effect with VideoStudio 9. Is it possible to add the same person twice in the movie with VideoStudio 9?

Welcome to the forums,

Yes it is. First the Dissolve Transition Effect is included with VS. You can find it by clicking on the Effects tab, then looking under the FX Library for Transitions. You simply drop this between 2 video or image clips.

A Double Exposure effect is more complicated. You need of course 2 video clips of whomever you want to double expose. As in the example the narrator, had 2 clips of himself. These were shot using a "green screen", so the chroma-key could be used.

Once you have your green screen footage, then insert it into an overlay track, go to the attributes tab, and click on the Chroma-key/Transparency. Select the Chroma-key and set the color to the color of the background. The background will then be transparent, and whatever is above it (main video) will be seen.
