VS9 audio not in sync
i am using an ATI all in wonder X1300, 256 mb capture card. It seems i am having an intermittent synchronization problem. It only shows up when i am capturing vhs into avi format. any ideas?? I have tried capturing directly to dvd fprmat from my vcr and the audio and video seem to sync properly.

Propably because the conversion from mpeg to avi "on the fly" is to much for your computer and it cannot keep up with the transfer.
If you have made a satisfactory capture as 'DVD' why not stick with that format - even if you capture as .avi you still have to convert to mpeg to burn a DVD - to many conversions for my liking.
When I capture from old VHS tapes I capture as 'DVD' - edit the mpeg and create an mpeg file to burn to DVD - works for me.
