Widescreen format in Pictureshow

Post by ebartolome »

I bought this program because the website stated you could output to widescreen. Has anybody figured out how to do this? With more and more TV's available in this fromat, slideshows end up stretch or minimized. Anybody have any suggestions?

Widescreen format in Pictureshow

Post by AlphaDood »

The only suggestion I could offer is to discontinue use of PictureShow 3. The program is so buggy and slow you will be extremely lucky if you can even build a slideshow let alone build a workable widescreen format. Any body unfortunate enough to have purchased PictureShow 3 has been dumped on by Ulead. The patch they offered as a solution does nothing to improve even the slightest performance of this dog. Just read some of the other comments about this software, I don't believe you will find many favorable comments. Perhaps htchien can locate a hidden CODEC for us to use which will fix the problem. That is only my opinion and suggestion. Until the time Ulead fixes or refunds my money I will have nothing good to say about PictureShow 3. How long before ANGRYKILLER deletes this post???

Dear ebartolome,

Where on the site you see the wide-screen support in DVD PS? Because I cannot find it on Ulead website....

Dear Alpha,

I'm sorry you have bad experience with DVDPS 3, but there are many reasons software will not work. I'm just trying to provide some possible reasons that might work. I'm sorry that my solution might not work for you (or others), but sometimes CODEC really is a problem.

If you can tell me what the problem you have (and the detailed steps you got the problem), I can help to verify the problem. If I cannot solve your issue, I will help to transfer your problem to Ulead to see if they can provide more fix for you guys.

Hi ebartolome,

It says "Wide format support ensures high compatibility", not "Wide-screen format support". It means it can support all CD/DVD media such as CD-R/-RW and DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW.

Hope this helps.
