'WRONG PARAMATERS' please help
I've recently purchased a large hard drive for storage purposes and have successfuly been able to 'move' (drag & drop) about 30 .AVI & .MPEG files from my working drive with the exception of 4 which cause an error message 'WRONG PARAMATERS' please help

Might be worth checking the file system on the new drive. The "older" system, which dates from earlier versions of Windows, is FAT-32. This is fine, but it cannot handle a file size larger than 4 Gb.
The alternative file system is NTFS, which has no such limitations. If you are running Windows XP, you can change the file structure to NTFS quite easily.
Just get into the command prompt and type HELP CONVERT.

THANKS ............... but,
I have to stick to FAT-32 as I only have Windows 98se. All the files are in the 2GB range, and remember I have been successfull with about 30 other movement of .AVI & .MPEG files.
Further thought/info, One of the four files is 'clean' with no additions like the other 3 which have Transitions and Titles before rendering/saveing to .MPEG. - THINK THAT MIGHT BE PART OF THE PROBLEM?

Your problem is almost certainly being caused by the lack of support for 48-bit LBA addressing in your BIOS and OS. Hard disks with a capacity greater than 137GB require support for this in order to utilize the full capacity of the drive.
