I'd like to create a DVD with clips of different resolution.
For example:
Videos from VHS source: 352x480
Videos from my digital photo camera: 352x240
Videos from hi-quality sources: 720x480
Nero does that without problem, but in Ulead DVD MovieFactory I have to choose one and only one resolution for all the videos.
I can encode everything using TMPGEnc and Ulead will not complain as long as the video is already MPEG-2 DVD compliant, but in this case I cannot insert texts and effects.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it a real limitation?
Different video resolution in the same DVD
I think you are correct. (I've never tried that... I rarely put more than one "title" on a DVD.)
FYI - You should be able to do it with Video Studio. The procedure would be similar to your TMPGEnc technique - Create separate compliant MPEGs with the desired enhancements & effects, and then use these to make a DVD with either Video Studio or Movie Factory.
