Help Making "CREDITS" on VS10+

Hi, I have struggled for a few hours trying to make some stand-alone nice looking 'credits' for a grade school production.

I have a static background, and I can make a one at a time 'slide', but there doesn't appear to be a way to 'cut and paste' what you just did for the next slide?

Then after making all the individual text slides, I've tried to make them 'roll-up' like TV credits, but they barely moved and 'time ran out' before the text scrolled all the way to the top.

The manual didn't really say anyway to cut and past, nor did it go into details around pages 99-100.

Any suggestions for this newbie?

'Cutting' and 'Pasting' of text in the title phase is carried out by using the standard windows keyboard shortcuts of 'Ctrl+C' and 'Ctrl+V'
