Hello,
I have Video Studio 10+ and everything works correctly when I use that software.
I have downloaded the trial version of Videostudio 11+ to evaluate and have attempted to capture some HD video from my Sony HDR-HC1E camcorder. When I switch to capture mode I get an error nessage indicating that the software is "unable to switch to capture mode...". I have attempted to change the capture plug but the only choice availale is IVI Capture Component.
Does the v11+ trial software support my HD camcorder or do I need to do something different from the previous version to simply capture some video?

Re: Capture Plugin Missing?
I have the same problem with my Sony HD-HC3. Except that I never had version 10. Now it is obsolete, the new software doesn't work and I have spent enough time here and will move on to another software where I do not have to pay $100.00 to obtain support for a trial version that doesn't work.
My recommendation is to stay with version 10.
