Some Fusion HDTV captures have no sound in VS 10

Hi

I do not understand why some Fusion HDTV captures have no sound in VS 10. The same captures play perfectly in Win MP 10. If I trim the MPEG file in Video Redo the trimmed version will play full sound in VS10.

Why do I not get sound in VS 10 without having to rerender in Video Redo? Many other captures using the same Fusion HDTV settings capturing to MPEG format have full sound without rerendering in Video Redo. What is the variable and how do I troubleshoot?
