Trouble with HD-DVD on DVD-R and menus on Xbox 360

Any help is greatly appreciated :

Burning 1440 or 1920 HD-DVD on plain old DVD-R works just fine in Ulead VS 11 plus. I play this on the HD-DVD Xbox 360 add on unit. Commercial HD-DVD's play just fine ( of course with menus).

Without a menu in Videostudio 11 plus the playback works well.

With the trial version if I use a menu at all, with any format or source material, even the most basic menu, the Xbox just freezes and will not work at all. Requires a reboot. The only supplied menu on the trial is the "HD basic"-looks nice but will not play at all..

Any ideas ?? This must be an issue with Ulead code as all else works just fine...Any workaround ? If anyone has the full purchased version does this also occur or just with the trial ??

Forgot to mention in my PM that I've just now installed the full version and am working on my first projec to see if it makes any difference with the menu issue.

I'll post the results.

Any update on how to get the HD-DVD menus to work when burning to DVD-R and playing with the Xbox 360 add on ? Does the full purchased version work ?

BTW- same issue with moviefactory 6
