I recently captured a Video I had taken last August into my VS9 software and spent some time editing it. All was going very well until I had to wait a minute and a half every time I wanted to play the clip or project.
I sent an email to Tech Support who suggested
a)Disk Cleanup
b)Uninstall VS9
c)Delete a number of specific folders
d)Re-install VS9
e)Install VS9 update pack
I sent an email back to TechSupport asking if there was any way that I could save the partially edited movie , and how , or whether I would have to start again. That was weeks ago and I have still had no response.
Can anyone help me ?

Where did you capture the clip from? (camcorder, vhs, Internet, etc.)
How did you capture it? (firewire, usb, download, etc.)
Right click on the clip and post it's properties here.
Post the project properties here.

The video I downloaded was from a Panasonic DV Camcorder. ( I edited another video some time ago with no problems.)
I used a USB connection - firewire did not seem to recognise my camcorder.
The project is comprised of 168 clips and is of 38 minutes duration.
Right click to give the file properties gives me information that I don't understand .... it says 212KB ...... yet a right click on any of the clips can give 194,000KB .... and there are 168clips !!!
There is a lot of clip information , do you need all of it or some specific items ?
regards
Terry

We understand what it means, and we can help you understand it, but we need that info. Please right click on a clip and copy ALL of the properties here.Right click to give the file properties gives me information that I don't understand
Also go to File > Project Properties and copy ALL the Project Template Properties here.
See this thread regarding the info we need.
