Hi,
I've just moved to Vista Home Premium. On my old XP machine I had a full copy of VS8 and and upgrade copy of VS9. I understand that neither of these will run on Vista. I also understand that both these versions of the software will allow me to buy the cheaper upgrade version of VS11.
My question is: During installation, does VS11 look for an earlier installed version (i.e VS8) or do you simply enter a product code from an earlier version? If it is the former I can't see how I'll be able to install VS8 on Vista to verify the VS11 upgrade.
upgrade to VS11 on Vista
