How to "Create 3X DVDs"?

Post by alsbessa »

There is a statement on the VideoStudio 11 Feature & Benefits Description about burning HD Video on a standard DVD media.
How to do it and play on a HDMI DVD Player LG9921?
Thanks

I think you are mixing two different technologies. Your DVD PLayer can upscale regular DVD's, but it's not a true HD-DVD Player (if I read the specs correctly).

To create a "3X DVD", you are actually authoring a different format -- HD-DVD, and burning it to regular DVD5 or DVD9 disc. To play a "3X DVD" you will need a player that can play HD-DVD's.

HD 1080i on DVD5?

Post by alsbessa »

Thanks, George. The LG9921 player supports 1080i HDMI. How could I write a DVD5 with HD Video? Is there any HD format I could write on DVD5 and play on the LG9921 with 1080i resolution?
