video capturing

Post by julius »

Hi, I've just upgraded my VideoStudio Plus 10 to the latest 11, but I'm finding boring difficulties in capturing video VHS from analog sources. Infact when begenning to start the capture (the signal is quite clear and the sound is quite smart), the recording doesn't work at all and an error message appears by saying "cannot start the capture graph.". But why? Where is the incredible error? I've always trusted in Ulead company and I wouldn't like that new software were full of gaps. So, would you mind explaining me how to fix that boring issue, please? Thanks in advance. :?

[Unrelated to the actual problem: I think the OP's use of 'boring' is a poor translation from his undoubted Latin-based language of a word which can mean boring, but in this context also means (more appropriately) "annoying". Just inserting this so that no one gets the impression that the OP is being disdainful...]

That being said, I have VS11 but have had no call yet to hook up to an analogue capture device, so I cannot comment, I am sorry.
