no picture, just sound with Windvd 8 Platinum

I'm getting no picture, just sound with Windvd 8 Platinum Version 8.0.6.109 on Windows XP Pro srv.2 with all NTSC commercial dvds.

I have a Ati Radeon x850xtpe agp with Catalyst 7.4 drivers.
Soundblaster audigy 2zs soundcard
Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 4200+
JLMS- XJ-HD166S dvd-rom drive
Plextor PX-760a burner
2gigs of ram

I'm guessing this is some sort of video codec issue, but I'm kind of stumped at the moment.

Any thoughts?

Well, for some weird reason my color and saturation settings in Ati's Catalyst Control Center under "video color: basic" were set to 0. Moving them both to 100 fixed the problem. I'm not sure how they got set to 0.

Oh well, at least I fixed it.
