I can capture the video and audio at once by using 1394 in the very earlier version of VideoStudio.
I try to use ver.10 or ver.11, and also using the 1394 to caputre from my DV. But now, it is only capture video only, the audio is not captured.
So, i plug a audio wire to connect by PC (sound card) and DV.
By this method, after the capture is completed, I check the file, the video and audio is not sync. ( I capture it to avi format)
How can I fix it?
I want to know that is it the new version cut off the audio capture from 1394?
Thank you!

Which DV Encoder Type are you using? (In the Capture page, look in the Options icon.) I think it is set to Type 2 by default in VS10 and 11. Change it to Type 1 and try again.
Type 2 imposes greater demands on your computer. It captures video and audio as separate streams, though in one file. If your computer is not up to the job, one or both streams suffer. Type 1 Encoder captures audio and video in one stream, and most people find it works better for them.
