Hello. When putting together a project using SmartScene menus in VS10+, and using background music with the menus, is there a way to stop the background music starting over each time you move to a different title on the menu? I would like it so that the music just plays continuously regardless of whether or not you are moving the cursor through the titles.
I really like the SmartScene menus, but I find this thing with the background music quite annoying. By the way, is there somewhere where you can download more of them from? Thanks. Glynn.

No.
let me explain the mystery of smartscene menus.
They are an optical illusion.
Let us take a single smart scene menu page that has 4 links
We will ignore the navigation buttons next, previous, play all, home.
We will just look at those 4 links.
for clarity we will call them
Link A
Link B
Link C
Link D
In fact VideoStudio (This also applies to the ones created in MovieFactory)
has created 4 seemingly identical menu pages.
Select Link A and you see menu A
Select Link B and you see menu B
Select Link C and you see menu C
Select Link D and you see menu D
whenever you move to a new menu page the music always starts at the beginning. with the traditional thumbnail or text only menus it was obvious that you had moved to a different page. With smart scene menus, due to the almost identical nature of these pages, you think you are still looking at the same page.
