Intervideo dvd 4 xp does not work

My software for playing DVDS, DVD 4 xp did not work for a month or so. Now it does, because I reinstalled Win 98 again with a version that writes over the old one without erasing it. Now it works again, so my problem is solved. It took a lot of time to figure this out, however.
