i've been searching all over the place for more video filters for VS10+ and i came across this website:
http://www.profoundeffects.com/products ... ery/sp.php
apparently, this was made for an earlier version (VS6, i think). i'm wondering if there's anything out there now that's similar to this and works with VS10. i would really love to have these effects.
thanks for your help.

It would be worth browsing our links to Free Stuff
Whilst Stefan Burger has created the Burger transitions, I think the effects you are looking for may be found in his other free product FX Bench.
You will find that listed in the above link.
There are a number of other plug ins available but those have to be bought
Some that spring to mind are
Heroglyph
VFXMask / VFXFlash
Boris FX
Depan Motion stabilization filter
Moving parts by Stage Tools
This Google Search will undoubtedly yield more results.

Someone else was inquiring about a night vision filter or effect in the not-so-distant past, but I couldn't find it with a Search. Perhaps someone else remembers that or was a part of the thread and can find it.

I knew somebody would come thru. I should have known it would be you, Steve! Your filing system must rival the Library of Congress (for you non-Americans, that's BIG - over 110 million items)
