Find the serial number for what program? Did you purchase it on-line or in a retail store? Is it an ESD (download) or Boxed version?
If it is an ESD, in one of the emails you received from the purchase, there should be a Serial number. If it is a boxed version, the serial number is generally found on the CD sleeve.

If ESD copy:
If you have the ESD (Electronic Software Distribution) installer version, then the serial number should be included in the confirmation email. The ESD serial number is an 18 character string that usually starts with "8" or "9". Sometimes the confirmation email includes an activation code instead of the serial number. In this case, the software is installed then the serial number is auto-generated from the activation code. Once the software is installed you can check your program's serial number by selecting the Help menu and selecting the 'About Ulead software' option. The serial number will be showed in the dialog box.
Refer to this link on how to find the "About..." section for your particular Ulead software:

Note: It is recommended that you register your Ulead software so you can have reference of your serial number in case you loose it. This way, you will also be eligible for technical support.
If retail copy:
If you have the CD copy of the software (retail-full version or SE-bundled version), the serial number should be included with the registration material or on a sticker affixed to the back of the CD case or package.
If the software is already installed, you can check your program's serial number by selecting the Help menu and selecting the 'About Ulead software' option. The serial number will be showed in the dialog box.
