Version 11=+purchase

I have been experiencing problems trying to purchase version 11+. I have had every version since #6 and always bought the new boxed version as an upgrade with no problems. However, when I try to do this to buy version 11+ I was told it was currently out of stock but I could still place my order. When I tried to do this I was then told it was not available in my area ( California )

Any ideas as to how I can place my order.

I think from reading the e-mail which Ulead recently sent me and from other comments I have seen and heard that none of the boxed versions are available now - all that is currently available is the downloaded versions. As you have found you get an "out of stock" message if you try to order a boxed version. Could be just a stockist problem as it is not usually Ulead which you order from (even though you order on the Ulead website) and is often a company called "Element 5" maybe they just haven't got sorted yet.

IIRC, it took around 2 or 3 weeks after VS10 was released last year before boxed versions were available.

I cut my losses and bought the download version. And before I even installed it, I burned the three files to CD. (Sadly, the total is just over 700MB and just a little too much for one CD...)
