Help with Videostudio 7 SE
Hello all. Yes I know this is an old version, but it came with digitizer I bought. The software works great on my machine except for one problem. I can't make a DVD with it. The CREATE DISC option under share is greyed out for some reason. I have downloaded all the patches and have a very up to date computer. Is this feature not enabled in the SE version? Please help.

Probably not. SE versions come disabled in some way. They are really just samples to get you to try, then buy, the software. Is this feature not enabled in the SE version?

Unless your copy of VideoStudio is specifically labelled - "VideoStudio 7 SE DVD" - and not just "VideoStudio 7 SE" then it is almost certainly NOT capable of burning DVDs.
What it should allow you to do though is to "Share >> Create Video File" to make a MPEG2 video which you can view in Windows Media Player or take into a number of standalone DVD burning programmes (Nero etc.) to burn a DVD that way.

Thanks guys well thats got to be it then. DVD is not part of the title name. I just saw the features in the PDF manual and the greyed out option in the program. I have Nero Express 6 but it won't quite cut it.
It sucks because i have tons of programs to make and edit nice videos (including Adobe premeire) but i cant find a good program to put it all together and burn it to DVD with a nice menu and all that. Any suggestions?

Wow what a great program. This may be exactly what I needed. There is just one problem. The DVD output has frame rate problems. It looks like its playing at like 15-20 fps instead of 30 fps like the source. I posted about this in that particular forum. Any thoughts? The files were WMV's.Black Lab wrote:DVD MovieFactory
