Clip plays audio okay, project doesn't

Post by daverobbins »

I'm new here and to Videostudio, so please bare with me.

My audio track is displayed and plays okay when i play the "clip". But when I play after clicking on "project", I get no sound. The file is a .mp3 and plays fine everywhere else (including within Video Studio)

I tried saving and hoping it would work...no audio in the MPEG.

Any ideas??

Thanks for any help you can provide!

mp3 is a compressed form of audio and comes in many flavours just like cheese (cheddar, Danish Blue, Stilton etc)

Whilst most of the time mp3 will not give you any problems, some forms of mp3 can. Try converting the mp3 to WAV format. You can do so quite easily with the FREE audio editor Audacity
