WinDVD has been instaled on a Windows Vista operating system...uninstalled...reinstalled...over and over !
When trying to open the program...I consatantly receive a message reading ...
C;\Program Files\InterVideo\DVD8\WinDVD.exe
This application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details.
Contacting support has been a joke..with no replies to my questions...and, I have searched for this event log with no results !
Is there anyone out there that may be able to help ? Good Lord..it would be greatly appreciated !

have you done the complete re-installation method as per this link rather than simply uninstalling via the control panel.
