Sending a Video By Email.

Post by sjj1805 »

Once again I have received a private email from a forum member.
Hi Steve,

I wonder if you can help me. I have done a short video and want to send it via e mail to my parents. However, it will not go, it gets to 20% then doesn't get any further.
I used Ulead Studio 8.

Is there a way to compress the file then send it??

Many thanks,
Amanda.
Firstly a reminder. Please view Private Messages and Emails to Forum Moderators

O.K. now that's out of the way - video files are rather large and unless you made them very small - sort of like mobile phone screen size, and very short - say less than 2 minutes - then they would not be suitable for email.
In fact many email programs automatically reject files that are too large.

The easiest way is to upload your video onto a web server and then provide a link to it (via email) to your friend/relative.
