Help Files Not Found

Post by Johnhson »

I have downloaded a 30 day trial to see how I get on with VS10. I was looking for the help files but all I get is a 'file not found' message so I'm not doing very well yet.

I looked in the online help and it said about installing content - there are some content files already there.

Any help to find the help to get be off square 1 would be appreciated :)

Thanks

John

The help file is not included with the TBYB version, to save on download size, I know it doesn't make much sense, but that's the way it is.

However you can download the manual which is better then the help files, from the following link:
http://www.ulead.com/vs/documents.htm

Be advised that the TBYB version is limited on somethings, so some references in the manual will not be applicable to the TBYB..

FYI, VS11+ should be released within the next few days. So you should be able to compare both VS10+ with VS11+ for about the same amount of time. Both can co-exist on you system.

Thanks ever such a lot for your fast reply ... you gotta love it, haven't you. All the high IQ that goes into creating software and then not put the helpfile in.

Right - to download the manual and then to bed (it's 12.52am here)
