Failed to Connect to Driver:Adaptec USB Capture Device-Why?
I have been using DVDMF4 on my desktop and it works fine with my ATI tuner. I recently purchased a laptop with no built-in TV card so I purchased an Adaptec Dual TV Tuner and loaded the dirvers which came with the tuner. When I try to capture video from this tuner, DVDMF4 gives me the following error "Failed to Connect to Driver:Adapted USB Capture Device [13011:3:3]. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I may resolve it?
I don't think that device and drivers are compatible with MF4.
It's usually suggested to use the software that came with the device to capture the video and then import the videos into MF4.
The older ATI analog capture devices that use software compression work well with many other applications. The newer ATI capturing devices that use direct hardware compression also gives problems in other software trying to capture. Your USB capture device probably falls in this class of using direct hardware compression.
