Hello ... I've been using Video Studio V9.0 with Windows XP and my Sony DV Recorder for quite sometime now with no problems. I just purchased a new PC with Vista Home on it and when I try to do a Video Capture from my Sony DV Recorder, I'm getting the following dialogue box:
Unable to switch to Capture mode.
Check if your video capture driver is working propery.
"Failed to build a preview graph"
[15001:33:1]
[15023:4:2]
This keeps me from doing my video captures from my Sony DV. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

VS9 was released way before Vista, so it is not compatible with Vista. If you have managed to get it to work at all, should be considered a miracle. VS10+ has a patch in order to work with Vista. VS11, 11+, which should be released any day now, will be fully Vista compliant.
