Today I wrote an mail direct at support@intervideo.com as suggested in WinDVD help file. But I only received an error message from their mail server:

This said to me, there will be never an answer because no one receive the messages from you all. Or is here anyone who got an answer for an support question in the last weeks??
For me, I'm now not longer waiting to get support. I'm looking now for an good crack/keymaker to get the newest build of WinDVD 8 to work. I think this is ok because I have paid for the retail version!
