Can't Uninstall VStudio 4.0

I have an old version of Ulead Video Studio 4.0 I never use it. I tried uninstalling it through add/remove programs. It just gives this error message.

The log file'c\program files2\Ulead video studio\Uninstal.isu' is not valid or the Data has been corrupted. Uninstallation will not Continue.

I have tried going to the programs menu and looking for the uninstall link, but it isn't there either. It looks like I have to uninstall it manually. Is it alright if I just delete the folder? I would like to get some extra space back on the drive.

I suggest that you install it again (select REPAIR if you are prompted to during the install process). THis should repair the first installation rebuilding those corrupt files and then you should be able to un-install.

If that doesn't work then either use an uninstall program (there are a few commercially available ones) or just delete the folder and then clean up the registry either using software such as Ashampoo Winoptimizer or editin g the refistry (regedit) and seach for keys etc for videostudio and remove them.

Just delete the VideoStudio 4.0 program folder in C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\

Deleting the folder worked. I used Reg-edit to clean any existing (just a Couple) remnants. Thank You.
