"Ulead has its own packet writing software called QuickDrop/Ulead Data-Add. This software can cause conflicts when you have two or more UDF packet writing software programs installed on your computer."
Depends on what version of MF your using.
Some versions of MF came with packet writing software and some did not.
QuickDrop IS NOT a packet writing program. It's simplay a handy utility that you can load when windows starts or Not load it. It's just a program.
If it's loaded then on the taskbar right_click on the icon & select "Options". Under Options tell the program NOT to load when windows starts. Also right_clicking and select Close or Exit stops the program from running.
To see if Data-Add is active (the packet writer). Open up "My Computer" and right click on your DVD Writer, select "Properties". In the Properties of the DVD Writer if DATA-ADD is loaded you will see a TAB that says DATA-ADD.
Unlike Nero InCD you can turn on DATA-ADD packet writer on the drive "On The Fly".
DATA-ADD should also be listed under Control_Panel -> add/remove programs icon.
So if you do have InCD & Data-ADD loaded they should both be listed under the Properties -> TAB's.
Also deleting your other posts because they are the same as this one, no sense in double posting.
Good luck
That's good.
As far as I can tell MF6+ doesn't come with packet writing software.
I do have one machine with InCD active. I don't use quickdrop & disable loading it. I'll have to see if it conflicts with InCD on that machine.
Only loaded InCD for one project and forgot to remove it.
Ulead Data-Add is only provided in the following Ulead versions:
Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.5 Deluxe Suite (came as a hardware bundle version in the burner package)
Ulead Burn. Now 2.0 (as a hardware bundle version in the burner package)
It's not offered in the full version.
Ulead Quick-Drop, as etech said, is not a packet writing driver but a quick and easy tool to let you burn audio, data, video files without opening the DVDMF main program or the Burn. Now component in DVDMF.
