libary errors version 7 with update pack 2

After installing the service pack 2 for MSP7 i have the following errors when starting the application.

The procedure entry point ?dvSetVideoInfo@@YAHHPAU__MIDL__MIDL_itf_strmif_0345_0001@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library uvDV.dll

The procedure entry point WMCreateWriter could not be located in the dynamic link library WMVCore.DLL

Then the application continues as normal... is there a solution and what is the impact of this?

I am using Windows XP with SP1

Did you have the first patch installed before installing SP2? This has been blamed for some problems. I suggest you try uninstalling MSP, including deleting any residues that you can find. Reinstall 7.0 and then go directly to 7.2, without the first patch. Please let us know if that works.
