Custom pan and zoom for slideshows in MovieFactory 6 plus

I am trying to create and apply custom zoom affects to each slide in a slideshow. However, every time I select a Pan & Zoom effect for an individual slide (select a slide, click on Pan and Zoom, select Custom, set Pan and Zoom affect, and hit OK), it applies this to the entire slideshow, not just the selected slide.

How does one select and apply a different Pan and Zoom affect for each individual slide in a slideshow?

Nero Photoshow can do it.
Anvsoft DVD Photo Maker Professional can do it.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory does not seem to? I am really surprised that it can't have individual transitions for individual photos...or am I missing how to do it in this program? Otherwise the program is awesome!

The reason why would you want it is...Consider seeing a Black and White photo pan and zoom into the frame and then stop, and then (without panning and zooming, but just with fading) the colour version slowly appears in exactly the same spot. It is a beautiful technique, but you need to have individual photo-by-photo transitions.

I've looked at the instructions, and searched in the forums...nobody seems to list how to do it? Please prove me wrong!!

Is it an incorrect product choice? Should I/we be looking at the Pictureshow product instead?

MF 6 does not yet support custom pan & zoom affects to each slide in a slideshow.

You can use VideoStudio 11 to do that feature.
