transition in VS 11+

Post by manel1102 »

Hi guys,
I like Video Studio. it's pretty easy and multifunctional software. But I'm disapointed with 11+, because thay removed some of transition that i liked and always used such as album, masks, box etc.
I would like to purchase this, but that's the thing that makes me hasitating.
I just wanna know if it's possible to add somehow those transitions to VS11+ to make them work under any OS (I use XP Home and vista).
I tried just to copy them from previous VS into their folder, but it doesn't work.
Please let me know if you know something about it.

Thanks. Mark

They are all there in VS11+ - take a look at the opening post.
Have you installed the extra content?

hi
I looked in extra content. Is this bonus CD?
it's only pictures, movies, windvd etc, but no transitions.
Maybe i didn't understand that.
And I was surprise when i saw in your opening posting all those things. I don't have it.

Please help. Thanks
Mark

You should have received 3 download links.
The progam
The 'Extra Content'
and the Bonus CD content.

I can only speak for the manner that Ulead (Via Element5) handles the download. They provide 3 links for a time limited period.
They offer an extended download time period for an additional fee.

You need to check with whoever you purchased it from.

That was a box purchase and there was no extra content there.
Only 2 CDs.

I am at my workplace at the moment and cannot see an obvious file to run. I will check my installation files when I get home.

My download consisted of the following 3 files

uvs11_plus_(e).exe
uvs11_plus_contentpack_(e).exe
uvs11_bonuscd_(e).exe

The first one is the basic installation.
The second has all the extra transitions and sample vidoes, filters and so on
The Third is for the Bonus CD containing (Amogst other things)
Ulead Disc Image Recorder
WinDVD8 Silver
An audio directory
A Image direcdtory
A Video directory
A Setup directory.

Examination of the contents of uvs11_plus_contentpack_(e).exe by opening it with Winzip reveals:
data1.cab
data1.hdr
data2.cab
engine32.cab
Full Spectrum 22k.exe
layout.bin
license.txt
Quicktracks.exe
setup.boot
setup.exe
setup.ini
setup.inx

Where get the 3 links to re-download?

I bought VS11+ on June 19th and might have a corrupt file. Where can I get those 3 links? Searched around my emails and my Ulead account on line but could not find.
Thanks!
Have HP Media Center M8120n desktop (2.40GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600; 2 320GB Drives; 3GB DDR2) with Vista home premium. Using VideoStudio 11plus.
