Installing Ulead Webcam
I need to install Ulead webcam, my operator is Windows XP and I have a laptop. I inserted the CD into the CD-ROM and I get no response or any pop up. I plugged in the web cam and a message popped saying a new software and a new USB is plugged. I clicked on the message, I clicked on install software using CD-ROM. The search results were not responsing, afterwards, the response was, a CD or source is not found. Please help?

Now we are on the same wavelength. Your Question concerns Ulead Cool 360.
You have purchased a web cam, it came with a CD containing the drivers for the web cam and also some software. part of that software is a version of Ulead Cool 360.
Some USB hardware will simply plug in and play, other USB software requires drivers to enable it to work. Sometimes that driver software must be installed BEFORE plugging in the hardware, but sometimes it is the other way round and you plug in the device which then asks you to insert the driver CD.
Normally there will be a 'readme.txt' file on the disc or there may be some documentation that came with the device. This should tell you the correct way to install the device and its drivers.
Ulead do not sell web cams, as a matter of fact they do not sell cameras or camcorders either. The manufacturers of various pieces of hardware often include a SE version of Ulead software with their goods. These versions are termed Simple Edition and are a watered down version of the full product.
If there is a problem with the installation CD you will need to contact the reseller or the manufacturer of the hardware device to obtain a replacement.
