Synchronising music tempo to slides
i googled and found
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=9033
how well does it choreogragh the slides to the music tempo???
example here i used vegas, but am looking for something that can generate
pan and zooms quickly.
Can VS 10 do themes of zoom and pan at more than a leisure pace of other software???

It can. I have done one that was synced to the beat. http://ribbonrail.com/Videos/pop_corn.wmvchazz wrote:i googled and found

It takes a bit of work but on the example you pointed to would be easy. As for zoom and pan, yes, you have full control but you set each image individually,
This one I did looks like what you are trying to do? http://ribbonrail.com/Videos/

Re: Synchronising music tempo to slides
and this is a flipper lol ...*** of what i need.......need more control over each slide: each slide should have same air time (unless i synchronise to lyrics too), but what happens for each slide is what i need, ie the slide be synchronised to the tempo of the sound track for that time period.railroadguy wrote: It can. SO i take it VS 10 doesnt do this??
cheers

Well, the one you pointed to was the same type of action. You can do extremely fast pans, zooms, turns, flips, inside out and up your ##@, whatever, but there is no one button to push for "go crazy and do all kinds of stuff" They have to be set up on an image my image bases.
If all you want to do is have a bunch of images bebop to the music, like those cheap speaker lights back in the 70's, I don't think VS can do that. But let other weigh in, or, download the trial and try it.

I like that. Are you ever worried about copyright problems with your company name all over these or do you secure the rights to the music?chazz wrote: Here's Sarah Brightman's War is over

Just my luck, Ol' Neil would come after me

Oh yeah i want to tell a story based on the music and lyrics, and the panning and zooming has to suit.

There's the easy way and there is the hard way.
The hard way can create some stunning results like the popcorn video from railroadguy but will take a lot of time, effort and dedication.
Then there is the easy way which obviously is less stunning as it is all done by the computer.
VS 9/10: Changing slideshow slides to beat of music
