When you go to Share > Create Video File choose Custom. The Save As Type box should have Microsoft AVI Files. Click on Options. On the AVI tab you will see the Compression drop down menu. DivX should be included on that list. Following the tutorial you now should be able to render your file to DivX.

FYI - I've found that if there is a lot of movement in your video the recompression that Veoh, YouTube, etc. use causes a lot of blurriness, artifacts, etc. I've found that rendering my file to a Quick Time Movie File produces much better results. (But I'm still having trouble getting my longer movies, and bigger files, to upload properly in this format. Shorter videos work fine.

Go to Share > Create Video File. From the Save As Type drop down list you will see Quick Time Movie Files. I believe I used the Veoh recommended 640 x 480 frame size but, other than that, I used the default options.

Since WMV seems to be what VISTA will allow, and I think you may be able to produce a WMV with VS10+, try creating a WMV file.
I just checked Apple's website for QuickTime and Vista. No such luck. QuickTime is not VISTA capable yet. They do provide a "feedback" form for those that are trying to run QuickTime on Vista. https://appleseed.apple.com/QTVistaSurvey/run/.
However since I don't have Vista, and have not actually seen it other then pictures, I'm at a loss as to what will work. I'm finding out more of what will not work..

If you are going to post it on Veoh I would render to an mpeg-2. No sense compressing it to wmv only to have Veoh compress it more. I say you can do that on Veoh because you can upload files larger than 100 MB, unlike YouTube and most of the others who require you to keep them under 100 MB.
