i had a hardisk failure after which i had to put a new hardisk in my PC and after i instlald VideoStudio 10, and when i click on Capture Video, it says ''CHANGE FIELD ORDER'' and it gets STUCK at 10%.
i also installed Videostudio 9 but in here also it got stucked? whts the problem? plz help...(capturing from VHS). It was workin f9 b4 i put my new hardisk.

Hi, first step will be to check there aren't any driver problems with your capture devices.
Start>Settings control panel>System>HardwareTab>Device Manager>Click + beside 'Sound Video and Game controllers and look for a Yellow ? or ! if there is post back details. also do the same check for 'System Devices', and if your using a USB capture device also check 'Universal serial Bus controllers'.
Also can you fill in your 'System Profile' in the Forum and tell us what Analogue capture device you are useing.

I was trying to capture from VHS. Im not using firewire. I bought a Dazzle DVC90 device which connects 2 the PC via USB and iv got 2 connect the VCR's AV pins to the device and thats it. it used to capture perfectly before but i dont know y it does not capture now. When i click on capture video in Video studio, it say ''Change Field Order...processing 10%'' and it gets stuck at 10%.
I also have this problem with some other capture cards. Once VS sets the correct fielding this doesn't happen anymore.
What I do is I hit the ESC key and using the mouse hit the cancel button very quickly, it seems to hang for about a minute or so then exits the field detection and returns control back to VS. I've also had to teminate the VS executable.
As long as you can get past the field order detection then future capturing doesn't have this problem.
