After the topic called 'inspiratioon from tutorials' and my comments on it, I thought it would only be fair to share my finished product.

buzzard,
how big is this file. i get an error from c3fd insufficiant memorry.
i have 2 gigs ram.
this has never happrened before
i cant even see the .avoi

BuZZarD,

What kind of AVI is that? Divx? When I view it I can hear sound but get nothing but a black screen (using Windows Media Player 11).

You'll have to nab the DivX codecs for that, Ken... I've WMP 11 too, and have the DivX codecs installed. Plays fine then.

I created and compressed the AVI in VS10 using the DivX codec.
The original animation at full res is 650mb.

If you run it off anything other than a raid0 array, it stutters trying to load so much data in such a short period of time.

The project file should open ok - downloaded it again and it was ok on mine.

For some reason, the spinning text on the video file stutters (VS10+), whereas in the actual animation, it rotates smooth as silk.

All this was made possible thanks to help from you guys.

It was me that ran the original 'inspiratioon from tutorials' thread .I am inspired thanks,Although I am having a bit of a problen running it smoothly in Cool 3d.That may be because I do not have the font you used so it is automatically changing it tio Arial which takes about 15 minutes.Any chance of a tutorial for us begginers
