When I select Customise Layout, I get 2 error windows
"Menu objects are overlapped. All objects will be reset to default."
There is only one button an one text box, and even if I widely separate them, I still get the error window.
That is followed by another error window containing.
"[SKD- Custom]you dead.... at fnSetMenuPage()"
The Custom Menu window then opens with only the Ulead logo shown on a black preview video. Button templates are shown in the window at the bottom, but the associated drop-down is blank and not accessible.
This has been reported to Ulead with no response.
Has anybody received a response from Ulead's tech support on anything?
MF4 - Custom Layout doesn't work

I do not have the errors in my DVDMF 4, can you describe your problems step by step?
Have you tried to reinstall the program to see if it works?
Regards,
H.T.

Regarding help from tech support
I do not own the product you are writing about. However, I do own several other Ulead products. One of the reasons I choose to buy Ulead is because of the excellent tech support and customer service I have received from them. I have found that calling them is much faster than E-mailing them. If you haven't tried calling them, I suggest you do.

JCC, here's a couple of suggestions for you.
jcc,
I have a suggestion for you. If you have a broadband connection, you might want to consider having a broadband phone. The rates to call foreign countries are very cheap here in the U.S.A. I assume it is the same in Australia. This would be especially beneficial if you have other reasons to call the United States. Another suggestion would be the Yahoo Messenger. It has voice capability. You could write to Yahoo Tech support asking them to meet you on line on the Yahoo Messenger at a particular time on a certain date. I see no reason why they would be opposed to doing that. There is no fee for using the Yahoo Messenger and you can talk to anyone anywhere. On a number of occassions, I have used it to speak with people in your country. Good luck

I have just downloaded the upgrade to MF4 (may 05) and I am getting the same errors. I emailed Ulead and they said reinstall the product but clearly this is a serious bug. I am very annoyed as this product should not be on sale - it's not fit for the purpose it was purchased for.
If Ulead don't release a fix I will be demanding a refund - somehow..

There is life outside the US, you know? We don't even drive on the same side of the road as you in the US, then again, we don't have a president either, thank god for that.Max Sendit wrote:jcc,
