new user- help burning DVD needed

I am new to the world of movie making and burning DVDs. I recently learned how to use Windows MM2. I was told that I need an "authoring software" to burn my WMM movie to DVD and that Ulead Movie Factory is a good choice. So I downloaded the free trial but cannot figure out how to burn my WMM movie using Movie Factory. Where might I find step by step instructions? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
